Remote Staff Engineer, Frontend

• As a Staff Engineer, Frontend at Vendelux, you will be responsible for shaping the technical strategy for products and systems.
• Responsibilities include being the technical owner for the web application, shipping high-quality software, solving technical problems, collaborating with teams and users, and working on the product roadmap.
• You will also mentor a team of engineers, work with various tools like Python, MySQL, Typescript, React, AWS, Snowflake, Datadog, and GitHub, and have the opportunity to use the right tools for the job.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience building complex applications using a modern language (from Java to Typescript).
• Track record of shaping and shipping valuable features.
• Track record of driving high-leverage improvements to infrastructure and process.
• Judgment to take on technical debt and risk where appropriate.
• Strong communication skills, especially written.
• Nice-to-have: Previous startup experience.
