Remote Staff Engineer, Fullstack

Description:

• Vendelux is a Series A SaaS company that provides a system of record for event marketing, helping companies find the highest ROI events to attend and sponsor.
• As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for shaping the technical strategy for Vendelux's products and systems.
• Responsibilities include being the technical owner for features end-to-end, shipping high-quality software, solving technical problems, collaborating with teams and users, and working closely with leadership to define the product roadmap.
• You will also mentor a team of engineers, work in an autonomous, cross-functional agile team, and use tools like Python, MySQL, Typescript, React, AWS, Snowflake, Datadog, and GitHub.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience building complex applications using a modern language (from Java to Typescript)
• Track record of shaping and shipping valuable features
• Track record of driving high-leverage improvements to infrastructure and process
• Judgment to take on technical debt and risk where appropriate
• Strong communication skills, especially written
• Nice-to-have: Previous startup experience
• DevOps or platform/infrastructure experience (or deep interest)
