Remote Staff Engineer, Identity Access Management

Description:

• The Staff Engineer will be the lead engineer within the Identity Access Management (IAM) space for Fullscript.
• Responsibilities include leading projects, crafting the roadmap, auditing and ensuring the health of the domain, and hands-on engineering of IAM solutions.
• Work with technical leads and engineers on the product and security team to address the challenges of a fast-growing platform, focusing on the sign-up & login page and OAuth flow.
• Collaborate as part of the IAM Engineering “pod” to propose, discuss, and refine new features and functionality.
• Lead or coordinate the IAM team’s work, identify gaps in the current IAM process, and suggest improvements.
• Plan and architect projects, lead design discussions and decisions, and contribute to the code base to complete projects.

Requirements:

• Passion for IAM and Security, staying updated on evolving threats, technologies, and solutions.
• Knowledge of directory services, Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Strong engineering practices and processes, experience with high-scale web applications.
• 5+ years of software development experience with a modern full-tech stack, preferably in Ruby, Rails, React, JavaScript, Graphql, and Apollo.
