Remote Staff Engineer - Python Data Engineer

Description:

• The company is seeking a Staff Engineer - Python Data Engineer to work remotely in Mexico.
• They are looking for individuals with experience in Elastic Search and Python API (FastAPI) to enhance customer products related to the GenAI based knowledge management product suite.
• The role involves working with ElasticSearch Cloud as the search engine in the RAG solution, utilizing hybrid search to retrieve results from different indices.
• Responsibilities include providing relevancy tuning for multiple indices and use cases, modifying existing Python APIs to support Elastic templating and a new custom template engine, managing Elastic templates and scripts like Kibana, and offering expertise on managing Elastic indices at scale.
• The ideal candidate will bring thought leadership on RRF practices, custom templating, and more.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python, RAG, and ELK.
• Familiarity with React and AWS.
• Demonstrated real-world relevancy experience and the ability to apply it effectively with clients.
• Strong Python API development skills.
• Experience with ReactJS is considered a bonus.
