Description:

  • As an IT Systems Engineer on the BT Automations and Integrations team, you will support business and technology innovation to drive the organization's top and bottom lines.
  • You will use iPaaS technologies and coding to deliver scalable, reliable, secure, and optimized SaaS-SaaS solutions.
  • Building MVP solutions and utilizing data and insights to frame narratives for stakeholders.
  • Increasing the team's impact on the business by understanding various internal processes and workstreams.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy solutions and educate stakeholders.
  • Working with various technologies, even those unfamiliar to you.
  • Communicating vision, strategy, and plans to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Attending workshops with vendors to gather insights and ideas.
  • Demonstrating deep expertise in Business Technology, Product Development, and Data & Analytics.
  • Making strategic decisions and tailoring approaches to unique company contexts.
  • Creating and executing technical roadmaps for the business.
  • Having 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Possessing 3+ years of experience with modern iPaaS platforms.
  • Interacting with REST APIs and event-driven design patterns.
  • Utilizing advanced SQL skills to extract data and build performant datasets.
  • Understanding the importance of data in scalable systems.
  • Having knowledge of identity, authentication, and authorization concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services.
  • Integrating services with Slack, including building custom apps and Slackbots.
  • Solving internal scaling problems and providing examples of past solutions.
  • Valuing clear communication, documentation, automation, and technology.
  • Having strong documentation skills for asynchronous collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Deep and broad subject matter expertise in Business Technology, Product Development, and Data & Analytics.
  • Experience making strategic decisions and tailoring approaches to unique contexts.
  • Ability to create and execute technical roadmaps for the business.
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with modern iPaaS platforms.
  • Proficiency in interacting with REST APIs and event-driven design patterns.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services.
