Description:

The engineering team is scrappy, data-driven, and customer-obsessed, consisting of engineers, stylists, product thinkers, and storytellers.
The role involves shaping user experience and engineering standards as one of the first five engineers, reporting to the Head of Engineering.
Responsibilities include developing high-quality web applications using NextJS, React-Query, and TailwindCSS, collaborating with designers and PMs, and translating Figma designs into interactive user interfaces.
The engineer will also participate in code reviews, provide mentorship, drive automation in testing, and help shape front-end culture.
Requirements:
Candidates must be passionate about improving user experience and have experience building high-quality user-facing products.
Fluency in TypeScript and CSS, with extensive experience in NextJS and ReactJS is required.
Hands-on experience with React-Query, Tailwind CSS, and front-end tooling like Webpack and Yarn is necessary.
Experience in collaborative development environments using Git and GitHub is essential.
Candidates should have the ability to translate designs from Figma into accessible interfaces across multiple devices and browsers.
Establishing testing practices and methodologies for the team is a must.
Understanding of front-end performance optimization and scalability is required.
Strong documentation, communication, and team enablement skills are necessary.
Candidates should thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and enjoy solving complex problems end-to-end.
