The company’s flagship product is an AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac test called the HeartFlow FFRCT Analysis, which provides a 3D model of a patient’s coronary arteries.
HeartFlow is seeking a Staff Front-End Software Developer to create advanced web applications that revolutionize healthcare.
The role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of customer-facing interactive web applications.
The Staff Front-End Software Developer will drive technical vision and architectural decisions, mentor other engineers, and contribute to the technical excellence of the team.
The position requires collaboration with API teams, Product, and UI/UX to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of web applications.
Responsibilities include overseeing the entire lifecycle of web applications, implementing high standards for code quality, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations for medical software.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
Strong proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as Vue.js, JavaScript, React, and Angular is essential.
Demonstrated experience in building and deploying large-scale, customer-facing web applications is required.
Experience driving technical vision and leading architectural decisions, along with the ability to mentor and lead other engineers, is necessary.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools is required.
A strong understanding of web security best practices is essential.
Experience with DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, is required.
Candidates should have experience with or a willingness to learn about FDA regulations and compliance requirements for medical software.
A demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is necessary.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $146,232 to $187,177 for all locations outside the San Francisco Bay Area and $155,750 to $240,922 for the San Francisco Bay Area.
The compensation package includes cash bonuses and stock options.
