Remote Staff Front-End Engineer (South America)

Description:

• The Staff Front-End Engineer position is for a Full-Time Contractor based in South America, specifically in Brazil.
• The role involves working with a collaborative team to drive the technology of learning products and platforms.
• Responsibilities include architecting scalable software solutions, implementing best practices, and creating highly performant and extensible technology.
• The engineer will serve as a technical leader and visionary for complex systems, providing guidance, mentorship, and shaping the overarching vision of the system.
• The position is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment with Product and Design teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience with a focus on complex systems.
• Strong experience with React and Typescript is preferred.
• Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CD/CI workflows for Front End services.
• In-depth knowledge of modern software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectures.
• Experience with AWS and the ability to learn new technology stacks quickly.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to code, review others' code, and implement customer-facing solutions that address true customer needs.
