Description:
The Staff Front-End Engineer position is for a Full-Time Contractor based in South America, specifically in Brazil.
The role involves working with a collaborative team to drive the technology of learning products and platforms.
Responsibilities include architecting scalable software solutions, implementing best practices, and creating highly performant and extensible technology.
The engineer will serve as a technical leader and visionary for complex systems, providing guidance, mentorship, and shaping the overarching vision of the system.
The position is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment with Product and Design teams.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience with a focus on complex systems.
Strong experience with React and Typescript is preferred.
Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CD/CI workflows for Front End services.
In-depth knowledge of modern software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectures.
Experience with AWS and the ability to learn new technology stacks quickly.
Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to code, review others' code, and implement customer-facing solutions that address true customer needs.
