Remote Staff Front-End Engineer (South America)

Description:

• The Staff Front-End Engineer position is for a Full-Time Contractor based in South America.
• The role involves working with a collaborative team to drive technology for learning products and platforms.

• The position is fully remote and involves working with the Acquisition team responsible for website maintenance, SEO, and content management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience with a focus on complex systems.
• Strong expertise in web technologies, especially React/Next.js, and willingness to learn new stacks.
• Proficiency in modern software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectures.
• Experience with AWS and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to coding.
• Understanding and appreciation for Nerdy's focus on helping people learn without political distractions.
