Atomi is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to help build better tools for teachers and students.
The mission is to optimize the way we teach and learn, making complex concepts simple and accessible.
The role involves creating engaging learning experiences and effective teaching tools while growing as a technical leader.
Responsibilities include building teaching tools, developing and improving the Design System, managing complex frontend state, leading technical initiatives, and providing mentorship to junior team members.
This is a fully remote position, allowing work from anywhere in Australia, with the option to work from the headquarters in Ultimo, Sydney.

Requirements:

Candidates must have previous experience in a senior/staff/principal frontend engineer position, ideally in a scaling B2B SaaS organization.
Strong expertise in modern frontend technologies, frameworks, and languages, including React, Next.js, and Typescript, is required.
A history of developing and maintaining a design system that meets the needs of the entire product development team is essential.
Understanding of state management approaches for frontend applications is necessary.
Expertise in integrating frontend applications with backend services and APIs is required.
Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and accessibility standards is essential.
