Remote Staff Frontend Engineer

Description:

• Cortex is looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer to join their team.
• The role involves delivering complex projects end-to-end, designing and building high-performing front-end features, and enhancing the codebase.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams, writing clean and testable code, and improving engineering processes.
• The position offers the opportunity to provide leadership, mentorship, and contribute to technical and process improvements.
• The Staff Frontend Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving the user interface of the developer portal.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering, focusing on modern and intuitive user interfaces.
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies like React, TailwindCSS, and experience with complex single-page applications.
• Understanding of design principles for responsive and user-friendly applications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor and coach engineering team members.
• Previous experience at a hypergrowth startup is a plus.
