Description:
ClickUp is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality frameworks and components within the React ecosystem, integrating it with the Angular framework.
The role involves building and maintaining reusable React components, hooks, and libraries that form the core framework for web applications, ensuring consistency, scalability, and performance.
The engineer will lead the design and architecture of the React application structure, advocating for best practices in frontend architecture and component-driven development.
Collaboration with frontend engineers and UX/UI designers is essential to ensure the framework supports seamless user experiences.
The position requires continuous performance optimization of React components and applications, including monitoring and improving rendering, state management, and network requests.
A comprehensive, well-documented component library must be built and maintained, ensuring all components are tested and adhere to coding standards.
The engineer will conduct regular code reviews, mentor junior developers, and stay updated with the latest trends in React development and web technologies.
Responsibilities also include writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for React components and libraries, and collaborating with product teams to deliver solutions that meet user and business needs.
Requirements:
Candidates must be fluent in English.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working with JavaScript is required, with a strong preference for experience in Angular 15+.
Proficiency in Redux style state management, NgRx, Typescript, and RxJs is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with HTML/CSS, including layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility concepts.
A strong self-starter attitude, operational focus, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are required.
Experience mentoring teammates on technical skills is preferred.
