Remote Staff Frontend Engineer - Observability Grafana Cloud (Canada)

Requirements:

• Candidates must be comfortable working in a remote-first company where communication is key.
• A collaborative, friendly, kind, and respectful attitude is essential, with the ability to contribute to discussions and communicate design decisions clearly in English.
• A minimum of a couple of years of experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer is required.
• A good understanding of a user-centered software development process is necessary.
• Candidates should be able to transform ideas into working code, design solutions, and write prototypes independently.
• Enjoyment of working on complex solutions and valuing code maintainability, readability, and automation is important.
• Ability to troubleshoot modern web application issues and work with profilers, debuggers, bundlers, and testing libraries is required.
• A strong understanding of web application security best practices and experience in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities is essential.
• Experience with end-to-end testing and maintaining E2E testing frameworks is required.
• Familiarity with Linux and any of Prometheus, Graphite, InfluxDB, or Elasticsearch is advantageous.
