Description:
Phantom is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to join their remote team in the US.
The company is focused on revolutionizing the crypto ecosystem with their self-custodial wallet, which allows users to manage accounts and tokens across multiple platforms including Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Polygon.
Responsibilities include building and owning shared frontend libraries, enhancing frontend testing and CI pipelines, owning frontend performance and architecture, and improving and maintaining the design system.
The role requires a strong focus on creating reusable frontend components and libraries, leading test automation, driving frontend optimization, and ensuring a robust design system.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience with a strong frontend development focus.
Proficiency in React and TypeScript, including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization is essential.
Experience with styled-components for scalable styling, as well as data fetching, caching, and state management is required.
A demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms is necessary.
Proficiency in the English language is required.
Experience in blockchain-based projects is a plus.
