Description:

- Opportunity to work in the office or from home
- As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will bring AI technology to the core editing experience
- Collaborate with ML engineers, backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver features to users
- Lead the frontend technology direction of the roadmap
- Gain deep experience in Canva's core editor
- Work primarily with Typescript but may need to work with other languages
- Drive technical architecture for large initiatives and projects
- Find opportunities for cross-team collaboration
- Experience or interest in Machine Learning and/or Design is essential
Requirements:
- Experienced in technical leadership in complex domains
- Track record in delivering product engineering goals in the AI/ML space
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, MobX
- Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in Machine Learning and/or Design
