Description:
- Matterport is seeking a Staff Frontend Software Engineer to join their development team.
- The role involves implementing accessible and inclusive user interfaces for web applications and sites in the Matterport portfolio.
- Responsibilities include building React-based dynamic web apps, maintaining existing websites using Angular, creating design pattern library components, and utilizing headless CMS.
- Collaboration with product management and design teams to enhance user experiences is a key aspect of the role.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
- Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience in designing and delivering dynamic web experiences using frameworks like Angularjs, Angular, React, Gatsby, and Next.js.
- Expertise in CSS development with SASS/SCSS and Webpack is necessary.
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS, and Fastly CDN technologies is preferred.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a remote environment is essential.
