Remote Staff FrontEnd Software Engineer (South America)

Description:

• The Staff Frontend Software Engineer will work as a Full-Time Contractor based in South America to contribute to the technology of learning products and platforms.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to build customer-centric experiences.
• Utilize big data and machine learning to enhance learning experiences.
• Architect scalable software solutions and implement best practices.
• Assume a dual role as a technical leader and visionary for complex systems.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and shape the overarching vision of the system.
• Full-time remote opportunity with a focus on enhancing the tutor experience and optimizing the tutor-supply chain.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience with a focus on complex systems.
• Strong experience with React and Typescript.
• Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CD/CI workflows for Front End services.
• Deep knowledge of modern software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS.
• Growth mindset to learn new technology stacks and languages.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and solve complex problems.
• Strong coding skills and willingness to review others' code.
• Focus on implementing customer-facing solutions that address true customer needs.
