Description:

HumanSignal is looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer to contribute to building end-to-end solutions for their data labeling platform.
The Full Stack Engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop robust, intuitive, and performant web applications.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining backend services and frontend components, designing and building RESTful APIs, creating responsive user interfaces, and participating in code reviews and architecture discussions.
The role offers the opportunity to influence the entire technology stack, mentor other engineers, and contribute to the democratization of data labeling through AI and automation.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in developing full stack applications with proficiency in backend (Python, Java, Go, Kotlin, Scala, Rust) and frontend (React, Angular, Vue.js) technologies.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+), focusing on cross-browser compatibility, accessibility principles, and delivering maintainable code.
Proven experience in building scalable backend services and APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or similar.
Familiarity with database systems (Postgres, BigQuery) and working with streaming event and messaging architectures (Kafka, Spark).
Comfort working across the entire stack, including state management libraries, frontend build tools, and cloud platforms.
High user empathy, design skills, and a drive to build intuitive interfaces that solve real user problems.
Passion for communication and collaboration, using tools like TDDs, code reviews, and feedback to drive team success.
Proactive problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, manage complex projects, and hold a BSCS or related degree.

Competitive base cash compensation range of $150,000 to $210,000 USD based on regional market rates.
