Description:

  • The Staff Full Stack Engineer will take a leadership role in defining the next generation of care operations systems used by caregiving business owners and employees worldwide.
  • The position is on the Growth Technology team responsible for building and supporting systems for small businesses delivering care operations.
  • Responsibilities include delivering new systems and functionality to drive operations workflow with recommendations, prioritization, and automation.
  • The tech stack includes Python, Thrift, MySQL, AWS, JavaScript, Looker, and GitHub.
  • The role involves working on processes from home caregiver hiring to staffing assignments to demand generation and cost optimization.
  • The Staff Full Stack Engineer will help execute short and long-term architecture goals as the company makes strategic technical investments to modernize its system.

Requirements:

  • Thriving in a diverse, cross-functional team and collaborating with people throughout the company.
  • Enjoying building clean interfaces and connecting them to backend services.
  • Experience in building and maintaining production-grade features in Python or transferable experience in common languages like Node.js.
  • Designing relational database models and using a relational database at scale.
  • Being a key contributor to the design and implementation of large, complex projects.
  • Comfortable working in and refactoring legacy, monolithic code.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience building distributed systems and cloud services like AWS and GCP.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation in collaboration with the tier 1 support team.
