The Staff Full Stack Engineer will take a leadership role in defining the next generation of care operations systems used by caregiving business owners and employees worldwide.
The position is on the Growth Technology team responsible for building and supporting systems for small businesses delivering care operations.
Responsibilities include delivering new systems and functionality to drive operations workflow with recommendations, prioritization, and automation.
The tech stack includes Python, Thrift, MySQL, AWS, JavaScript, Looker, and GitHub.
The role involves working on processes from home caregiver hiring to staffing assignments to demand generation and cost optimization.
The Staff Full Stack Engineer will help execute short and long-term architecture goals as the company makes strategic technical investments to modernize its system.
Requirements:
Thriving in a diverse, cross-functional team and collaborating with people throughout the company.
Enjoying building clean interfaces and connecting them to backend services.
Experience in building and maintaining production-grade features in Python or transferable experience in common languages like Node.js.
Designing relational database models and using a relational database at scale.
Being a key contributor to the design and implementation of large, complex projects.
Comfortable working in and refactoring legacy, monolithic code.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Experience building distributed systems and cloud services like AWS and GCP.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation in collaboration with the tier 1 support team.
