• Guardrails AI is seeking a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to key systems and services that ensure AI reliability and robustness.
• The role involves maintaining and advancing open source projects like Guardrails Hub and Guardrails orchestration framework.
• Responsibilities include building and operating innovative products to enhance generative AI capabilities.
• The company recently secured $7.5 million in funding from Zetta Venture Partners, Factory, Pear VC, Bloomberg Beta, GitHub Fund, and renowned AI expert Ian Goodfellow.
• Guardrails AI focuses on managing AI volatility by detecting, quantifying, and mitigating specific AI risks through guardrails.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in building production-level systems, working with scalable software, containers, multi-threading, modern frontend frameworks, and major cloud providers.
• They should be a technical mentor and leader, capable of problem-solving in ambiguous situations and thriving in fast-paced, unstructured environments.
• The current tech stack includes Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Flask, React, and WASM.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience building production-level systems and software.
• Experience with highly scalable software, containers, and multi-threading.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue.
• Previous involvement in significant software operations on at least one major cloud provider.
• Ability to mentor and lead technically.
• Strong problem-solving skills in new and challenging situations.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, unstructured environments.
