Quora is a "remote-first" company, allowing this position to be performed remotely from multiple countries around the world.
The Staff Full Stack Software Engineer will contribute to Poe, an AI product, by building cutting-edge features from scratch.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to advise on product roadmap and create innovative features for bot creators.
The role involves rapidly prototyping and implementing new product features using modern web technologies and best practices.
The engineer will champion user experience and sustainable, scalable code practices.
Collaboration with LLM providers to integrate new LLMs on Poe is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

Candidates must be available for meetings during Quora's coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time).
A minimum of 7 years of experience working with large scale codebases and systems, particularly web applications, is required.
At least 5 years of experience with React, Typescript, and GraphQL is necessary.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in Python or a similar programming language.
A passion for learning and improving oneself and the team is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

For US candidates, the salary range is $183,647 - $267,615 USD plus equity and benefits.
