Description:
Pearl Health is seeking a passionate full-stack engineer to enhance healthcare delivery for primary care providers and organizations.
The role involves creating technology solutions that improve care quality and optimize performance in value-based care models.
The engineer will take initiative and ownership, connecting across the organization to develop effective solutions.
Responsibilities include applying advanced technology solutions such as data API development, machine learning, and natural language processing.
The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build systems that provide insights to physician partners.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience as a full-stack developer, proficient in both front-end and back-end frameworks.
Significant experience with JavaScript frameworks, particularly React and TypeScript, is preferred; knowledge of Python and cloud platforms is desirable.
Proficiency with component libraries like Material UI and the ability to create custom, reusable components from Figma designs is necessary.
A thorough understanding of front-end best practices for state management and architecture is required.
Candidates should have experience leading small teams and mentoring other engineers.
A proven ability to conduct research and understand user needs in collaboration with Product and User Experience teams is essential.
Experience in highly regulated environments with a focus on data privacy and security is preferred.
A degree in computer science, engineering, applied math, or a related field is preferred, but significant growth and impact as an engineer will also be considered.
Experience with startups is not necessary, but candidates should have an open mind to improve and define the engineering organization.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $150,000 - $240,000 per year, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
