Remote Staff Fullstack Engineer, Ads

Description:

• The Staff Fullstack Engineer will be part of the Mozilla Ads product team, focusing on display advertising in Mozilla products that prioritize privacy and values alignment.
• Responsibilities include designing, building, and owning core systems (front-end and back-end) supporting advertising in clients like Firefox, MDN, Pocket, Fakespot, etc.
• The role involves leading multi-team projects, ensuring high-quality and maintainable software, and participating in the development of privacy-preserving ad technology.
• Mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with front-end teams, and providing feedback on strategy are key aspects of the position.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex software projects successfully.
• Experience working on large-scale backend systems.
• Proficiency in Golang, Rust, or Java for backend technologies, and in Javascript, React, or Node.js for front-end technologies.
• Initiative-taking skills in a loosely structured environment and the ability to lead a team to success.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working in a distributed team.
