Description:

• Khan Academy is seeking a Staff Fullstack Engineer for AI Products to work on providing equitable solutions to under-resourced communities of learners and teachers.
• The role involves integrating state-of-the-art learning science into the product to help learners and teachers identify and address learning gaps, partnering with public school districts, and building tools for teachers to use Khan Academy in classrooms.
• The position will involve harnessing the power of AI, specifically Generative AI / LLMs, to enhance product capabilities.
• The company is remote-friendly and uses technologies like Go, GraphQL, JavaScript, React, React Native, and Redux.
• The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience building interactive web-apps, knowledge of Generative AI, strong technical project management skills, and a passion for the mission of providing free education worldwide.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience building interactive web-apps with scalable backend services and complex frontend user interfaces.
• Experience with Generative AI / LLMs and knowledge of prompt engineering techniques and generative models.
• Strong technical project management skills to lead projects across multiple areas.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable software, solve complex problems, and push the team and mission forward.
• Excellent communication skills, empathy for learners, and motivation to contribute to providing free education worldwide.
