Description:
- theScore, a subsidiary of PENN Entertainment, is seeking a Staff iOS Developer to work on their popular sports media and betting apps.
- The role involves collaborating with a team of Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to enhance the mobile experience.
- Responsibilities include designing, architecting, and shipping applications, implementing user interfaces, improving code quality, and building custom mobile tooling.
- The Staff iOS Developer will work on maintaining the mobile CI/CD pipeline, solving complex problems related to data sets and UIs, and staying updated on the latest iOS development trends.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Swift and Cocoa, along with 6+ years in commercial iOS development.
- Ability to deliver clean, organized, testable, and high-performing code.
- Experience in creating custom UI elements, integrating APIs, and working with Git and package managers like SPM, Cocoapods, and Carthage.
- Strong understanding of modern software architectures, object-oriented design, concurrency best practices, and profiling/debugging tools.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Passion for sports and/or gaming is considered an asset.
