Remote Staff iOS Engineer

Description:

• Eventbrite is seeking a Staff iOS Engineer to join their remote team in India, focusing on the Organizer iOS App.
• The role involves collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to develop and enhance features aimed at improving user experience and engagement.
• The iOS application is built using the Composable Architecture (TCA) framework and coded in Swift, with integrated payment processing through Stripe and third-party SDKs for barcode and QR code scanning.
• The engineering team is responsible for their services and systems from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance, including an on-call rotation for immediate issue resolution.
• The position offers opportunities to build new features, optimize performance, and implement best practices while working with a fully Swift codebase transitioning to SwiftUI, Combine, and The Composable Architecture.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have proven experience as a native iOS developer, specializing in building highly performant apps using Swift.
• A thorough understanding of various architectural styles and a track record of optimizing them is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and high standards for code quality are essential.
• Candidates should be eager to learn new technologies and adept at using the right tools to address complex issues.
• Clear communication of proposals and technical concepts to ensure alignment among team members and stakeholders is necessary.
• Ability to align on goals and timelines with product, design, and engineering teams, and work independently when needed is required.
• Candidates must be capable of writing clear and concise technical documentation.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated release processes is essential.
• Proficiency in architecting UI features cleanly and effectively is required.
• Knowledge of design patterns and adherence to market software standards is necessary.
