Remote Staff iOS Engineer, Ad Formats

Description:

• Reddit is seeking a Staff iOS Engineer to join the Scaled Ad Formats team, responsible for developing and enhancing ad formats on the platform.
• The team focuses on expanding ad inventory, optimizing user experiences, and implementing infrastructure enhancements for ad products.
• The role involves developing new features, improving existing ad formats, and laying the technical groundwork for future features and experiences.
• Responsibilities include building ad experiences for Reddit's iOS app, collaborating with product and design teams, and engaging in the full iOS development cycle.

Requirements:

• Expertise in iOS development with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
• At least 3 years of Swift development experience.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and a product-focused mindset.
• Experience in creating data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant apps for smartphones.
• Completed 4+ iOS development projects from ideation to deployment in production.
• Demonstrated experience in building multiple iOS projects with a team.
• Proven track record of mentoring and uplifting team members' technical skills.
