Description:
Eventbrite, a people-first organization, is seeking a Staff iOS Engineer to join their team remotely in India.
The role involves working on the Organizer iOS App, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to enhance user experience and engagement.
The team follows an active culture of mentorship, inclusion, and continuous learning, engaging in pair programming, tech talks, and hackathons.
The iOS application is developed using the Composable Architecture (TCA) framework, Swift, and integrates Stripe for payment processing and third-party SDKs for barcode scanning.
Responsibilities include building new features, optimizing performance, and implementing best practices to meet user needs effectively.
The ideal candidate will work with a fully Swift codebase and transition to an architecture driven by SwiftUI, Combine, and The Composable Architecture.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a native iOS developer proficient in building high-performance apps with Swift.
Thorough understanding of architectural styles, with a track record of revamping and optimizing them.
Problem-solving attitude, high standards for code quality, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, align on goals with cross-functional teams, and write concise technical documentation.
Experience with CI/CD, automated release processes, architecting UI features, and adhering to design patterns and software standards.
