Ramp is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead the future of identity machine learning, focusing on reducing identity-related threats.
The role involves building core machine learning models, designing data architectures, and setting strategic roadmaps.
Responsibilities include employing statistical and machine learning techniques on large datasets, prototyping and productionalizing machine learning models, and collaborating with Identity Engineering and Data Platform teams.
The goal is to provide a frictionless experience for every legitimate Ramp user.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Math, Economics, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Applied Scientist, or Data Scientist.
Strong experience in Python, including libraries such as numpy, pandas, sklearn, and pytorch, is essential, along with expertise in machine learning techniques and backend engineering.
Candidates must have prior experience deploying machine learning models to production and contributing to backend systems.
A strong knowledge of SQL, preferably with Snowflake or BigQuery, is required.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly improving startup environment focused on iterative technical solutions is necessary.
