Description:

Wizard is revolutionizing the shopping experience using generative AI and rich messaging technologies to create a personalized shopping assistant for consumers.
The company is hiring Staff Machine Learning Engineers, preferably with a background in NLP, to work on dialog systems, including fine-tuning LLMs, serving models, and building data pipelines.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining a training pipeline for fine-tuning open-source LLMs, serving and deploying LLMs on GPUs, formulating novel product issues into ML problems, triaging customer issues, and keeping up with developments in the generative AI space.

Requirements:

Candidates should have an MS/Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline, or exceptional work experience in ML engineering.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning is required.
Experience in developing machine learning-driven products at scale is essential.
Candidates must have experience solving problems using Machine Learning with PyTorch.
An exceptional understanding of designing ML systems in production at scale and applying a quantitative approach to identify performance bottlenecks and cost/performance tradeoffs is necessary.
Practical experience with large data systems, data models, and batch and streaming data pipelines is required.
Candidates should be able to quickly ramp up on the tech stack, which includes GCP, Kubernetes, Airflow, Pandas, PyTorch, Python, and Node.js.
Extensive experience with model deployment, both static within applications and dynamic using frameworks like Flask or FastAPI, is essential.
