Description:
Culture Amp is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to enhance their machine learning platform powered by AI and LLMs.
The role involves working with data scientists and engineers to create a central LLM gateway for product teams to utilize Generative AI.
Responsibilities include participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contributing to best practices in ML engineering.
The engineer will collaborate with team members through pair/mob programming and provide feedback on pull requests.
Staying updated with advancements in machine learning and AI technologies is essential for integrating them into products.
The position includes coaching and uplifting other engineers, as well as playing a tech lead role to define the long-term technical vision for the team.

Requirements:
Candidates must have expertise in Python software engineering.
Experience with various stages of the ML lifecycle and MLOps, including data labeling, model fine-tuning, evaluation, CI/CD, deployment, versioning, and monitoring is required.
Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and HuggingFace is necessary.
A solid understanding of transformer architectures and LLMs is expected.
Experience in AI, machine learning, LLMs, and NLP is essential.
Candidates should have experience working with cloud platforms and infrastructure, such as AWS or GCP.
A passion for machine learning and AI, particularly Generative AI, is important.
The ability to influence others without authority and work collaboratively with diverse teams is required.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary, along with self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
