Description:

  • Culture Amp is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to enhance their machine learning platform powered by AI and LLMs.
  • The role involves working with data scientists and engineers to create a central LLM gateway for product teams to utilize Generative AI.
  • Responsibilities include participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contributing to best practices in ML engineering.
  • The engineer will collaborate with team members through pair/mob programming and provide feedback on pull requests.
  • Staying updated with advancements in machine learning and AI technologies is essential for integrating them into products.
  • The position includes coaching and uplifting other engineers, as well as playing a tech lead role to define the long-term technical vision for the team.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have expertise in Python software engineering.
  • Experience with various stages of the ML lifecycle and MLOps, including data labeling, model fine-tuning, evaluation, CI/CD, deployment, versioning, and monitoring is required.
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and HuggingFace is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of transformer architectures and LLMs is expected.
  • Experience in AI, machine learning, LLMs, and NLP is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience working with cloud platforms and infrastructure, such as AWS or GCP.
  • A passion for machine learning and AI, particularly Generative AI, is important.
  • The ability to influence others without authority and work collaboratively with diverse teams is required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary, along with self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
