• The engineer will also coach other engineers and data scientists.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of industry professional software engineering and/or machine learning experience with a proven track record of building and maintaining successful products.
• Experience with a variety of machine learning techniques is required.
• Strong collaboration skills are necessary for working cross-functionally with product managers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• A passion for helping teammates grow and influencing the technical culture is essential.
• The ability to set a technical vision and execute against it is required.
• A sense of urgency to get things done and deliver incrementally is important.
• Preferred experience includes specific expertise in forecasting demand, reinforcement learning, online learning, and an interest in experimenting with large language models (LLMs).
