Description:

SignalFire is seeking exceptional Staff AI and Machine Learning engineers to join their Talent Network for AI & Machine Learning roles.
The position is remote with no preference for location.
Candidates will connect with top early-stage startups that are shaping the future of technology.
The role involves developing and deploying machine learning (ML) and deep learning models, building scalable data pipelines, and working directly with founders to align AI strategies with product roadmaps.
Responsibilities also include researching and implementing state-of-the-art AI methodologies and optimizing RAG pipelines, agent architectures, and LLM-powered systems.
This is not an application for a specific job but a way to get on the radar of VC-backed startups actively hiring AI/ML talent.

Requirements:

Candidates should have 6+ years of experience in AI/ML, deep learning, or applied AI.
Strong Python skills with experience in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX are required.
Experience with big data tools such as Apache Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop, as well as MLOps platforms, is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is expected.
Startup experience or a strong interest in early-stage environments is a plus.
