Afresh is seeking a Staff Mobile Engineer (iOS) to join their team remotely in Ontario, Canada.
The company is focused on eliminating food waste and making fresh food accessible to all through their A.I.-powered solutions.
The Product Engineering team at Afresh is responsible for building products that help grocers optimize fresh food operations and reduce food waste.
The role involves collaborating with product and design teams to create engaging user experiences, driving feature development, and designing reusable mobile interfaces.
Responsibilities include contributing to the mission of reducing fresh food waste, evolving mobile architecture, integrating new technologies, and driving improvements in engineering culture.

Requirements:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
6+ years of experience in iOS development.
Proficiency in Swift is necessary, experience with GraphQL is preferred.
Demonstrated track record of shipping high-quality mobile apps.
Strong understanding of mobile architecture and client/server design patterns.
Experience leading complex cross-functional projects.
Ability to solve system-level problems and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Experience with React Native development is a plus.
