Remote Staff Open-Source software engineer

Description:

• The Staff Open-Source Software Engineer will develop new functionalities in .txt's open source libraries.
• The engineer will ensure that the design of the different open source libraries is consistent with .txt's commercial offering.
• Responsibilities include fixing bugs and triaging issues, as well as reviewing community-contributed code.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have extensive experience with Python, specifically 4 or more years.
• Significant experience managing open source projects is required.
• The ideal candidate should be self-directed in their work and continuously seek to improve and automate the systems they work with.
• A strong value for simplicity is essential.
• Clear and concise writing skills are necessary.
• Experience with Rust and large language models is considered a plus.
