Description:

  • The Staff Operations Engineer at Mozilla will be responsible for maintaining and improving critical systems essential for the enterprise's daily operations.
  • The role involves managing an Auth0 (Okta CIC) IdP Platform and supporting team members with integrations of various third-party OIDC/SAML connections.
  • Responsibilities include coordinating deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of resources and services in GCP and AWS, handling SSL/TLS certificate issuance, administrating DNS and IPAM, and managing backup processes and disaster recovery strategies.
  • The position requires contributing to all project aspects, leading multi-functional groups to propose solutions for business problems, and working with a customer service mentality.
  • The Staff Operations Engineer will also roadmap opportunities for continuous improvement, document processes transparently, and lead independently in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or CloudOps.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (NodeJS) programming languages.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Serverless, Cloudformation, and/or other IaC tools.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS and GCP, including GCP Functions and/or Lambda.
  • 3+ years of experience in Identity Access Management products and frameworks such as Auth0, OIDC, SAML, OAuth 2.0, and LDAP.
  • Bonus experience in Rust programming language, GKE, Kubernetes, Cloud Run, CI/CD pipelines, RDS, NoSQL databases, monitoring/logging services, and LDAP server administration.
