Staff Platform Engineers promote excellence in engineering process and culture across teams, collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical functions, and mentor and help grow engineering teams.
They are involved in interviewing and evaluating engineering candidates to help grow the engineering team.
Requirements:
Must have experience in building cloud infrastructure and services in AWS or equivalent.
Proficiency in API and application development, ideally in languages like Ruby, Python, or similar.
Experience in data modeling and optimizing relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL for large datasets.
Familiarity with integrating services using various integration styles, including synchronous and asynchronous architectures.
Preferred experience in contributing to and designing backend systems using Ruby on Rails.
Knowledge of security concepts with infrastructure and web, common database, caching, and web technologies, GitOps tooling, CI/CD pipeline automation, infrastructure-as-code tools, and containerization and orchestration tools.

Competitive compensation package ranging from $165,000 to $237,000 a year, including base salary, equity, and benefits.
