Description:

JumpCloud is seeking an experienced Staff Platform Software Engineer to join their Platform Engineering organization.
The role involves solving complex problems using the latest tools and technologies.
Responsibilities include designing highly available systems, building tools, scaling the platform, and modernizing key components.
The engineer will work closely with other Cloud Engineering teams and internal engineering teams.
The position requires implementing best practices, building internal developer tooling, automation, and optimizing the developer experience for distributed applications at scale.
The engineer will provide technical leadership to ensure a reliable platform for customers.
The role is remote, and candidates must be located in and authorized to work in Türkiye.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 12+ years of professional programming experience, with proficiency in Golang, Python, and NodeJS.
Professional experience in developing and deploying applications in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure) with CI/CD pipelines is required.
Operational container orchestration experience, such as Kubernetes, is necessary.
Experience with highly available distributed systems is essential.
Proficiency in using infrastructure as code solutions, like Terraform, is required.
Candidates should have experience with tools to monitor platform stability, availability, and performance, such as Datadog.
A passion for addressing complex engineering challenges is important.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are required.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and teams is necessary.
A strong understanding of API design and microservices architecture is essential.
