The company is seeking Staff and Principal level Machine Learning Engineers with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP).
The role involves building generative AI products that utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) to create advanced AI characters.
Responsibilities include exploring and experimenting with cutting-edge machine learning techniques for applied NLP and developing production-grade scalable generative machine learning models.
The position is available in Mountain View, California, with remote options within the United States.

Requirements:

A BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field is required.
Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages.
A minimum of 4 years of experience applying machine learning algorithms in natural language processing domains is necessary.
Experience training LLMs (6B parameters and larger) such as NeoX, LLaMA, or PaLM is considered a significant advantage.
Deep knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX is essential.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $240,000 and $385,000.
Total compensation includes equity and benefits in addition to the base pay.
Individual pay is determined by work location, level, competencies, experience, and business needs.
The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
