Description:
The Analog and Connectivity Business Unit (A&C) at Renesas is seeking a Staff Product Engineer to lead the product development of cutting-edge sensor products.
The role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle from conception to end-of-life, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to customers.
Responsibilities include defining ATE test, qualification, and manufacturing plans, releasing products into manufacturing meeting customer requirements, and providing real-time customer support.
The Staff Product Engineer will be responsible for temperature/voltage/process characterization, product introduction, yield ownership, BOM maintenance, and excursion management.
They will also work on KPI achievement related to NPI execution, product cost, quality performance, and failure analysis cycle times.
Qualifications include 7+ years of product engineering experience, strong analog circuit knowledge, familiarity with ATE tester platforms, and experience with JEDEC/AEC qualification standards.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in yield management tools, semiconductor failure analysis, and excellent communication skills.
Education requirements include a BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with an MS preferred.
Requirements:
7+ years of product engineering experience with a strong analog circuit background
Familiarity with ATE tester platforms like Teradyne J750, Advantest 93K
Knowledge of analog and mix-signal circuitry, device physics, test methodology, and DFT
Experience with lab test equipment and bench characterization
Familiarity with JEDEC/AEC qualification standards and yield management tools
Ability to manage supplier excursions and customer escalations
Knowledge of Semiconductor Failure Analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective team player in a fast-paced work environment
