Description:
The Staff Security Engineer position at Everlaw involves leading the technical security team and executing the company's security strategy to protect customer data.
You will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance requirements of the company and customers are met by collaborating with various teams.
Tasks include defining and implementing security strategies, leading security engineers, advising on building a secure platform, and developing security improvements on AWS accounts.
You will also be involved in triaging security events, responding to security incidents, developing new security processes, and finding creative solutions to security problems.
The role requires a passion for learning new technologies and continuously improving processes to achieve the company's mission of promoting justice by illuminating truth.
Requirements:
Interested in security and willing to develop security knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Minimum of 8 years of experience working in security.
Led significant security projects successfully impacting multiple functions.
Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python).
Able to collaborate effectively with coworkers from different teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
Willing to find creative ways to improve security without hindering others' work.

The expected salary range for the position is between $207,000 - $270,000, with the final offer depending on experience and skills.
