Description:
As a Staff Security Engineer at Limble, you will be responsible for safeguarding the company’s digital assets and maintaining a robust security posture.
You will design, implement, and maintain security measures across the company's systems.
This senior-level position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex security challenges and leading security initiatives.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on all matters related to cybersecurity.
Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust security controls to protect sensitive data and critical infrastructure.
You will conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
Leading security design reviews, code audits, and threat modeling for new and existing features of the CMMS software and other company applications will be part of your role.
You will monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats and incidents across systems and networks.
Collaborating with product engineering teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle is essential.
You will automate security measures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations.
Educating and training staff on security awareness and best practices will help foster a security-conscious culture within the company.
Staying up to date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors is crucial to proactively enhance the security posture.
Requirements:
You must have 8+ years of experience in security engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
A deep understanding of cloud security architecture, security protocols, cryptography, and authentication mechanisms is required.
Expertise in secure coding practices and experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) and regulations (e.g., GDPR) is necessary.
You should have experience building a mature security operations program.
Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems is essential.
Experience with SIEM, EDR, and log analysis is required.
You must have experience developing tools to optimize and automate security processes and responses.
Excellent communication skills are necessary, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams on security initiatives is required.
Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $235,000, with new hires typically starting between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range, depending on experience and internal equity.
This is a fully remote position, allowing for flexibility in your work environment.
