Description:
As a Staff Security Engineer at Limble, you will be responsible for safeguarding the company’s digital assets and maintaining a robust security posture.
You will design, implement, and maintain security measures across the company's systems.
In this senior-level position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex security challenges and lead security initiatives.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on all matters related to cybersecurity.
Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust security controls to protect sensitive data and critical infrastructure.
You will conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
You will lead security design reviews, code audits, and threat modeling for new and existing features of the CMMS software and other company applications.
You will monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats and incidents across systems and networks.
You will collaborate with product engineering teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
You will automate security measures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations.
You will educate and train staff on security awareness and best practices to foster a security-conscious culture within the company.
You will stay up to date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors to proactively enhance the company's security posture.
Requirements:
You must have 8+ years of experience in security engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
A deep understanding of cloud security architecture, security protocols, cryptography, and authentication mechanisms is required.
You should have expertise in secure coding practices and experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Experience in building a mature security operations program is necessary.
Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems is essential.
You should have experience with SIEM, EDR, and log analysis.
Experience in developing tools to optimize and automate security processes and responses is required.
Excellent communication skills are necessary, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You must demonstrate the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams on security initiatives.
Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $235,000, with new hires typically starting between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range, depending on experience and internal equity.
This is a fully remote position.
