Description:
As a Staff Security Engineer for Identity and Access Management (IAM) at Aledade, you will enhance the security posture of our enterprise, cloud-native environments, and applications.
You will design, implement, and maintain robust IAM solutions, managing authentication, authorization, and provisioning across diverse platforms.
Collaboration with various teams is essential to ensure alignment between IAM solutions and organizational security requirements.
You will lead the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive security strategies and solutions.
Your role includes designing and deploying advanced security controls to safeguard networks, systems, and applications.
You will mentor and galvanize new engineers to perform at their best and set standards for security processes to support high-quality engineering.
Requirements:
A BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required, or 10 years of security domain experience without a degree.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in software or security engineering within Cloud Native environments is necessary.
Preferred knowledge includes experience architecting, developing, and deploying enterprise-wide IAM and IGA solutions aligned with business objectives.
Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP is important.
You should have at least 4 years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills are required, with the ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders.
Adaptability to rapidly evolving technologies and regulations is essential.
Experience with compliance standards and frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, CCPA, ISO 27001, and SOX ITGC is required.
In-depth knowledge of authentication protocols, authorization mechanisms, and directory services is necessary.
Experience with IAM systems and practices, as well as generating automated metrics to measure service effectiveness, is preferred.
Experience with tools in the security stack, such as Federated Identity and IGA solutions, is strongly preferred.
AWS Certified Security β Specialty or other relevant AWS certifications are a plus.
