Description:
Qonto is a leading financial technology company focused on redefining how businesses manage their finances.
The company is expanding its analytics team and is looking for talented Analytics Engineers with a strong focus on data modeling.
Two new Analytics Engineers are sought to enhance the quantity and quality of data modeling capabilities.
The role emphasizes understanding data from its conception rather than just its usage.
Responsibilities include designing and delivering data models in 6th Normal Form, 3rd Normal Form, and star schema.
Collaboration with stakeholders such as Product Managers, Data Producers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts is essential to ensure data models meet business requirements and are future-proof.
The position involves mentoring team members to elevate their data modeling capabilities.
Contribution to data governance and adherence to best practices in data architecture is expected.
The role offers opportunities to learn about Data Modelling and Streaming technology and to lead impactful cross-functional data projects.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 8 to 10 years of experience in data modeling, with expertise in data architecture and both normalized and denormalized data modeling.
Complete mastery of SQL is required, along with a deep understanding of data conception and normalization.
Ability to create future-proof data models is essential, with familiarity in DBT, Airflow, Apache Flink, and Snowflake considered a plus.
Candidates should have a passion for mentoring and growing others, as the role requires technical leadership and inspiration for teammates.
A mindset that embraces challenges, thinks mid/long-term, and brings innovative solutions is necessary.
