The Staff Site Reliability Engineer will play a key role in site reliability engineering and cloud operations of VGS's global cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities include architecting and maintaining scalable, reliable infrastructure, leading incident management, and conducting root cause analysis.

Requirements:

Proven experience in SRE or DevOps roles at a staff level, managing production systems in complex environments is required.
Strong proficiency in AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation is necessary.
A solid understanding of cloud-native architecture, Linux Systems, microservices, and CI/CD tools is essential.
Expertise in monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog is required.
Programming and scripting experience in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash is necessary for automating infrastructure.
A solid understanding of networking, security, and load balancing in cloud-native environments is required.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for leading cross-functional initiatives and mentoring.
Experience with incident management and disaster recovery best practices is required.
