Description:
As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring solutions.
You will utilize tools like ArgoCD, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architecture to achieve operational excellence at scale.
This role involves working closely with engineering teams to ensure they have the right infrastructure for rapid, safe, and reliable deployments.
You will focus on automation, reliability, and scalability in a hands-on capacity.
Responsibilities include designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and architecting cloud environments.
You will implement comprehensive monitoring solutions and advocate for DevOps culture across teams.
A security-first approach is essential, collaborating with security teams to implement robust practices.
You will work collaboratively with product development teams to integrate CI/CD practices into their workflows.
Requirements:
A BS in Computer Science or a comparable field of study, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Experience with programming languages such as Go, Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, or JavaScript is necessary.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux systems administration using the CLI is required.
A fundamental understanding of TCP/UDP networking concepts is essential.
Solid oral and written communication skills are necessary for this role.
Extensive hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like ArgoCD, Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI is required.
Strong understanding and experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration is necessary.
Proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is required, with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud experience being a plus.
Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for managing infrastructure as code is required.
Strong experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or New Relic is necessary.
A deep understanding of security best practices in DevOps is required.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams are essential.
