Description:

  • As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring solutions.
  • You will utilize tools like ArgoCD, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architecture to achieve operational excellence at scale.
  • This role involves working closely with engineering teams to ensure they have the right infrastructure for rapid, safe, and reliable deployments.
  • You will focus on automation, reliability, and scalability in a hands-on capacity.
  • Responsibilities include designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and architecting cloud environments.
  • You will implement comprehensive monitoring solutions and advocate for DevOps culture across teams.
  • A security-first approach is essential, collaborating with security teams to implement robust practices.
  • You will work collaboratively with product development teams to integrate CI/CD practices into their workflows.

Requirements:

  • A BS in Computer Science or a comparable field of study, or equivalent practical experience is required.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Go, Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, or JavaScript is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux systems administration using the CLI is required.
  • A fundamental understanding of TCP/UDP networking concepts is essential.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills are necessary for this role.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like ArgoCD, Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI is required.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration is necessary.
  • Proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is required, with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud experience being a plus.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for managing infrastructure as code is required.
  • Strong experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or New Relic is necessary.
  • A deep understanding of security best practices in DevOps is required.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams are essential.
