The Staff Site Reliability Engineer will enhance the reliability of products and operational capabilities.
Responsibilities include creating tools, collaborating with various teams, promoting best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

This position is subject to on-call rotations, as are all engineering positions at Array.
Key tasks include leveraging structured Terraform, using automation for cost-effectiveness, designing and operating cloud resources, assisting peers with reliability tools, monitoring systems, improving tooling, and participating in incident response processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, with expertise in writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
Highly experienced with Pull Requests (PR) / Merge Requests (MR) workflows, ensuring code quality, peer reviews, and version control best practices.
Expertise in one or more system administration domains such as Linux, Windows, network, or storage is required.
A deep understanding of the tradeoffs between running a data center versus using cloud providers is necessary.
Candidates should be passionate about mentoring others, improving team skills, documenting work, and communicating effectively.
The ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional agile software development teams is essential.
A passion for reliability practices and a drive to help teams maintain and improve their systems’ reliability is expected.
Familiarity with key Site Reliability Engineering principles, including eliminating toil, embracing risk, simplicity, and release management, is important.
Nice to have: Experience with cloud migration initiatives and VMware.
