Description:
- EarnIn is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to be the subject matter expert in operating systems and networking.
- The role involves monitoring service performance using DataDog and Cloudwatch, alerting with Slack or PagerDuty, and implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- The applications run on AWS using technologies like .NET Core/Framework, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Python, with a mix of EC2, ASG, EKS, ELB, AppMesh, Kineses, SQS, Kafka, DynamoDB, RDS, and ElastiCache.
- The base salary range for this position is $206,600 - $252,600 + equity + benefits.
Requirements:
- Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience is required.
- 5+ years of experience in an SRE or Software Engineering role.
- Experience managing production environments at scale and understanding the importance of observability.
- Hands-on experience shepherding services from design to production and handling site-wide outages.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and invest in people.
