Remote Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Federal Platform

Description:

• The Staff Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for designing and building the Core Infrastructure Platform, which includes tools and capabilities for Zscaler's physical footprints and base cloud environments.
• The role involves supporting Zscaler's FEDRAMP environments and requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Responsibilities include ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the Core Infrastructure Platform, building and supporting tooling for infrastructure operations, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for physical and cloud deployments.
• The position also involves supporting observability platform tooling, implementing and supporting Core Infrastructure Platform software, and estimating and breaking down work tasks.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of System Admin and Cloud management experience.
• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing Prometheus-based observability solutions.
• 2+ years of experience with Terraform, Chef, Ansible, or similar IaC/configuration management tool.
• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing high-scale DNS services.
